In Dorothy May Mercer's book, readers are immersed in a thrilling tale reminiscent of those cases in movies where tours unexpectedly transform into wars. Kelly and Tom, a newlywed couple, embark on a honeymoon trip to Honduras. Kelly, after much consideration, selects a Caribbean island that fits their budget. Their blissful journey takes an unexpected turn when the newlyweds separate to pursue their interests. Tom, a sergeant, joins a dive boat to explore coral reefs, while Kelly boards an excursion bus to explore local shops and venues.

During a 20-minute break instructed by the tour director, Kelly's curiosity leads her astray, and she ventures alone. Unaware of the hidden secret behind a gift shop, she finds herself in a high-tech lab, oblivious to the warning signs. As she becomes trapped, she realizes her country is vulnerable to an imminent attack. The book takes readers on a thrilling adventure as they uncover the nature of the impending attack, the identities of America's enemies, and Kelly's daring escape.

Dorothy May Mercer's writing style and articulation are commendable, particularly her familiarity with military expressions. The well-developed characters play essential roles and contribute to the overall mission. The narrative delves into various themes, including science, crime investigation, and adventure, while promoting values like patriotism, friendship, family bonds, and teamwork.

There is nothing to dislike about this book, as it avoids excessive length without compromising its substance. I found the interview with Dr. Peter Kinney, where the meaning of EMP is revealed, to be a standout moment. Additionally, the character of Steve impressed me as a capable spy. The book is exceptionally well-edited, with no noticeable errors. Therefore, the book warrants my rating of five out of five stars.

I highly recommend E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom to those who enjoy adventurous narratives with elements of science and criminal investigations.

This book sounds intriguing. It sounds like those suspense thrillers we watch in movies that start peacefully and gradually turn into action-packed scenes. What did Kelly discover? Nice review.

The characters in this book felt real and relatable, and their struggles in the face of disaster added depth to the story. The authors writing skill is commendable too!

Interesting... So their honeymoon transforms into a criminal investigation ground. While I feel sad for the new couple, I am also delighted at how interesting the story would turn out. I can't wait.
