Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children’s adventure book. This is the eight book in The Inca Cat Detectives series. This book is filled with so much adventure, mystery, friendship, family, and love.

In the narrative, the Siberian cat Inca and her animal friends travel to South Korea with their caregiver, Missy. In addition, Inca likes investigating issues as an animal detective. Missy, the human mother and caregiver of the cat, is a chef who was chosen to serve as one of the panelists for a food contest in South Korea. They encountered Enzo, a French chef who attempted to steal Missy's freshly made cheese, during the tournament. In the meantime, Inca and her friends took a risk and traveled to the North Korean border in order to save a cat. What will happen next?

The range of adventures in this book truly piqued my interest. In this book, I thought that the author did an incredible job of using animals to solve real-life crimes. The story's settings in South Korea and Korean cultures were expertly described by the author. I also enjoyed the way the characters in this book evolved, particularly the amiable Inca. The book's illustrations add to its readability, and I adore the beautiful book cover. Additionally, the family tree at the start of the book makes it easier for me to comprehend the plot of the first volume in the series. The book is both interesting and educational overall.

There wasn't anything about this book that I didn't like. The remarks that the author left awaiting the next book in this series were what I appreciated best about this novel. I am eager to keep reading the new book when it comes out.

The book was exceptionally well edited because I didn't find any typos or mistakes in it. First-person narrators are used in this book. As a result, I give this novel 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all the children for their bedtime stories.
