Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R. F. Kristi is the eighth book in the series. The group needs to set out on another mission. This time, their undertakings take them to South Korea, where they help a companion.

Missy is invited to be an appointed authority at a cooking competition. It is held in South Korea, and the group is glad to follow her there. In South Korea, their local escort is Ye-Jun. He is generally miserable and far off. The group understands the justification for this: he misses his sister. They vow to assist him with viewing her.

The book is a work of art. The author portrays the connection between North Korea and South Korea superbly. It shows readers the experiences between the two nations that were recently separated. She makes sense of it in such a way that even children will want to comprehend it.

I didn't find any negative aspects of the book. There were no grammatical errors, which shows it was superbly edited. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found the utilization of images significant because it resonates better with children. The designs and delineations are vital to helping children understand the book better. The characters were not difficult to keep up with. They played their parts well. I viewed no character as superfluous. My favorite character was Ye-Jun. His affection for his sister is something I appreciate about him.

War is horrendous, and it ought to be avoided away from no matter what. It just affects lives and properties. There will be no genuine victor eventually. We are just passing on survivors who are broken because of the circumstances of the conflict. I appreciate that the author attempts to teach kids about the risks of war. I prescribe this book to children who love activity, drama, and tension. I additionally feel grown-ups can profit from the set of examples in the book.
