This series kept me hooked to the point I actually bought the whole set for my personal collection and waited with belated breath for the next one to come out (back when it was still new) rather than taking it out from the library.
I eventually found Laurel annoying and was totally into Tam.
The whole two guys love triangle thing is quite overdone and unrealistic when trying to make a sci-fi fiction novel believable- however I still got engrossed in the world Pike created in this series.
