Dorothy May Mercer is the author of the fiction book E M P Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom. The book centered on the efforts of rightly placed people to stop a planned terrorist attack. At the center of the investigation to stop this terrorist attack was a couple named Kelly and Tom Turbulo. The couple went to a resort island for their honeymoon. While on the honeymoon, when Kelly wasn't with Tom, she unknowingly stumbled upon a terrorist den. In that instant, she surmised she had encountered something bigger than herself. Instinctively, she called for help from her brother, Senator Mike McBride. During the investigation, it was ascertained that the terrorists aimed to carry out a deadly attack that would have ripple effects across North America. In light of this, the primary motive for the investigators was to stop the attack. How would the mission turn out to be? Pick up a copy of this book to unravel the mystery.

Every moment in this page-turning action thriller engrossed me. I should mention that this book in the McBride series can be read independently. The steps to halt the terrorist attack on Northern America were described in great detail. The self-denial this new couple displayed captivated me. Few people can afford to forego their honeymoons to uphold national security. Tom was a city police officer, whereas Kelly was skilled at computer coding. Their occupations and abilities were a huge help to the operation. Considering these details, it's safe to say this couple was very compatible. Any reader will find it challenging to put this book down because each chapter leaves them wanting more.

The author's astounding ability to quickly build a plot fascinated me. Throughout, I had a great time reading the book. I came across new adventures in each chapter of the book. My attention was undivided, and my interest was retained as I read the author's account of the nuclear weapon's likely repercussions. The author has a good writing style. The book was great, and I took away a lot from it, especially how crucial it is to put others before yourself. The characters in the book were substantially developed by the author as well, and as such, I could relate to their actions.

I have no dislikes for this book. The author's portrayal of the characters made them realistic. The teamwork of the characters to stop the attack was wonderful. It was soothing to read about their cooperation in forming a defense against impending disasters for the nation. I commend the author for her originality. The book is exceptionally edited and error-free. Therefore, I'll laud the editor for that.

I gave this book five out of five stars since it helped me understand many new concepts. Readers who like suspense, thrillers, and action novels will find this book fascinating.
