Let go and live

When i was young i looked at the moon hoping to find you
My eyes followed in hopes that you were also looking at the same moon

I wish you the best, I really do but now its my time

You know that you created me
But you will never know me

I forgive you for being selfish
For not caring enough

Now i walk on towards my path and if ever our paths cross
then that's destiny aligning our paths and God's plan

Tonight i live for me and believe in this present.

Wow. This is great, Im not sure your reasoning behind this poem, or if it just "came to you", but I was adopted as a young child, so for me, it was like saying this to my birth-mother, does that makes sense? lol either way its good!
