Rev. Lisa Rae Brooks reflects on her journey to find answers to life's most complex questions. Why do particular things bother you? Why do you react the way you do? Could it be something from a past life? These questions are answered more fully in the book My Infinite Self by Lisa Rae Brooks. Be prepared to embark on a spiritual journey that will be valuable and enlightening to many people, sending them on a quest to find value and clarity.

Brooks creates some unique similes throughout her story. One, in particular, I found interesting was "life is like a Halloween party; we wear a different costume in each one." Reading about "past lives" and how to heal from their experiences opens your eyes to new ways of spiritual healing. The book taps into different spiritual guides and how they contribute to the spiritual healing process by discovering the most powerful entities, and the best part is that they are already inside your soul.

There were many elements to the book that I loved. I was immediately drawn in by the book's structure and the execution of Brooks' story. Hearing about her spiritual healing set the book's tone and ignited powerful expectations. I am glad to say that those expectations were met and more. My favorite section of the book is where Brooks reflects on different meditations and practices to heal various wounds. The one that stood out to me was praying in the miracle of transformation meditation. We all transform within ourselves, especially from pain to peace. The meditation ends with Navine Baskerville's powerful quote, "One act of kindness can heal a lifetime of fear."

There was nothing about the book that I did not like. Brooks made some powerful statements throughout the book that can be considered debatable, but Brooks supported them with charts, evidence, and reflections to further exemplify them. This book was exceptionally well-edited and well-written. Brooks created a beautiful language that flowed beautifully, like harmony in the soul. For these reasons, I am honored to award this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.

No pain will ever break us when we are connected within our souls through our spirit guides by calling them through meditation and prayer. Thanks to My Infinite Self by Lisa Rae Brooks, we must also remember that we can call our spirit guides anytime we want, not just when we are in pain. My soul continues to heal from pain and strengthen through spirit thanks to My Infinite Self by Lisa Rae Brooks.
