A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a memoir about his life and work as a diplomat and peace advocate. Berrah was born in Algeria in 1938 and witnessed firsthand the horrors of war. He fought in the Algerian War of Independence and saw the destruction and suffering that war caused.

After the war, Berrah became a diplomat. He served as Algeria's ambassador to China, the United States, and the United Nations. He also worked as a professor at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania.

I enjoyed reading about the relationship between the author and his mother. It was interesting and gave me a different perspective on relationships. It was nice to see how protective his mother was of him. She taught him all his manners, and he never departed from them. She played a big role in his success. I applaud the author for never forgetting his roots and the values his mother instilled in him.

Throughout his career, Berrah was a tireless advocate for peace. He believed that dialogue and understanding were the keys to resolving conflict. He also believed education and economic development were essential for a peaceful world. I found no errors in the book, which indicates that it was exceptionally well-edited. I found no negative aspect of the book. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

A Dream for Peace is a powerful and inspiring book. Berrah's story is a reminder that peace is possible, even in the face of challenges. It is a call to action for all of us to work together to create a more peaceful world. I recommend this book to those who want to venture into political careers. It teaches readers how to care for their compatriots. I also recommend it to those suffering from oppression of any kind.
