Apollo's Raven takes you back in time to Roman and Celtic mythology. Full of magic and and excitement! This book captures you from the beginning and holds onto you throughout. I could not put it down! The story of a young Cetic princess Catrin, coming of age as she struggles to handle the dark pain of her past. She is confused and afraid of becoming a dark sorceress while connecting with her apirit animal the raven who she can connect with to see things through his eyes. The journey takes her through a turbulent time during which a fued between her Celtic family and a Roman Senator comes to an escalation point in which she must choose between her family and the man she loves. She strives to harness her abilities and save the lives of her people and her Roman love. She fights to save her father and prove the innocence of her love, while uncovering deep dark secrets hiddne in her family. The tale that is spun is one of the mythology buff and romance buffs alike can enjoy. The descriptions make you feel like you are there in the moment. The authors ability to really draw in the reader is amazing. There are a few cuss words and some sex scenes. I would highly recommend this book and am eager to start book two.
