Three Sisters, Three Queens by Philippa Gregory

Post by kaylalane »

Waited a while for this book to be published and the wait was well worth it. Philippa Gregory continues her stellar career of mixing history with a fictionalized version of Tudor Era characters. If you enjoy Philippa Gregory, historical fiction, and/or books from a female perspective then you need to read this book.

I was considering reading this. What made it well worth the wait for you? Which queens did she write about, and did she use a lot of facts and data in the book?

I have been waiting for a copy of this to become available at the library! I want to read it, but not enough to buy it. I love Philippa Gregory, and her Tudor series was the first that I read about the Tudors awhile back, but now I find myself becoming tired of the Tudors...still love them, but I guess there is only so much that can be done with one family, even if it is the crazy Tudors. I have also been reading a lot about the Borgias, and can feel that material becoming a little old too. Anyone know of another comparable family with the same good drama?
