The book The Banned Book about Love is a quick read just a few chapters but has a lot of wonderful things to say. I was nervous at the beginning of the book because it was banned and the first chapter talks about a criminal. I wasn’t sure I knew what kind of book this was…until I kept reading. It turned out to be an outstanding inspirational book. The first talks about something that quite dark. I immediately turned off by the first topic of the book. Some readers may think that the book is about that, but keep reading. You will find a surprise in the book that will warm your heart.

I did not like the first part of the book and wondered if that’s why it was banned. It talks about a criminal that attempted something that is vile, and downright evil. But there is a reason why that it brought up. I am very glad I read it and am really inspired by the author's words. It really is an interesting read. What I loved about the book is how the author looks at life. The first chapter explains something dark and scary but what he does is turn it around for good. You may be confused at first in the second chapter which I was but the more I read, the more I understood. The rest of the book explains how love triumphs over everything. If people had more love this world would be a better place.

I rate this book 3 out of 4. I love the idea and how Love was explained in many different ways. I just did not like the beginning. It just explains something real dark and as the book goes on it just confuses the reader. I may also think that the book is meant to do that. If you read the book don’t get turned off right away. Keep reading. You’ll find some great quotes and verses and acts of love in the book.

You will really change your views on love and hate after reading this book. You will begin to hate less. The author really talks about loving more and hating less no matter what the circumstances are.

I would recommend the book to anyone that wants to get inspired. It really explains what love is, and even has bible verses as well. The writer really wants people to love more, do everything with love in their hearts.
