Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a financial planning self-help book written for Americans who are currently or will be planning their finances ahead. The author has over 20 years of financial planning sector experience. He has utilised his experience to uncover a suitable solution for individuals with both left and right brains when it comes to financial planning. According to the author, current financial planning solutions may not be capable of providing adequate structure or answers to new age scenarios, such as an extended average lifespan. The author of this book provides a solution that adapts to the new scenarios of the age.
According to the author, his book answers the following questions:What would you love to do? What are you really good at? Can you make enough money doing it? How much money is enough? How do you transition into your new career? How much time will it take? The book contains astounding facts and figures about American financial planning and its current situation. Through engaging examples and humour, the author explains why American individuals should reconfigure their financial planning for retirement.
I love this book because the author has successfully turned the boring pension planning book into interesting financial advice that has humour, likeable stories, and lovable example scenarios. Moreover, the related research, facts, and figures are presented in such a way that you cannot stop laughing and taking serious interest in them. The author's writing style and presentation of facts and figures are so clear that even a housewife can grasp his message.
There is nothing to dislike about this book. If the author had expanded his audience to the international level instead of only targeting the American working class, his book would have become an amazing phenomenon in the financial planning sector.
I rate this book five out of five stars because of the skill and ingenuity of the writer, who turns a pension planning book into an amazingly likeable financial planning research thesis. Also, the humour used is outstanding, like this one: "Maybe the 1930s weren’t the good old days after all. Heck, they didn’t even have television!". The book is professionally edited, and I do not find any typographical or editorial errors that are worth mentioning.
This book is designed for American nationals who are currently planning their finances, or we will soon be doing it. Also, for those who are interested in reading an impressively written financial planning research thesis.
