A Walk Through the Grapes is a fictional book novel by David Jackson. The book starts with Jace who returns back to his hometown after a very long time. He takes time to understand and see what's going on in his family like their vine business and about his girlfriend Ally. Everything was going well until the celebration party where Jace got into a fight with his brother Dane and things started to get ugly. They were drunk and suddenly Dane left in his truck and never returned. Since that day no one has seen or heard from him. It was at the same time when a farmer and his son died in a car accident and it was believed that Dane was responsible for their death. Hence the story continues and Jake tries to uncover the secrets his family was keeping from him and the big question! Where was his brother Dane?.

It was an absolutely fantastic book and the book was successful in creating a thriller and a mysterious environment. The part about the mysterious basement gave me real chills. I also admire the bond between Jace and his brother Dane. The brothers loved each other and they were ready to sacrifice anything for each other. Apart from this the book was very well edited and presented.

There was no part that I disliked in the book. In fact, it was one of the best fictional story books I have read in a very long time.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. In my opinion, the book was absolutely perfect and I would like to appreciate and thank the author for writing such a wonderful story. It was a perfect blend of all the mentioned genres like thriller, mystery, drama and family. The characters were also wonderfully written and developed.

I would recommend this book to all readers who love to read fictional or mystery books. The book is very amazing and captivating. Uncovering the family's secrets is what makes the story more captivating and interesting. The story gets more interesting as the book reaches the climax. Hence if you like to read similar books, you should definitely check this out.
