I rate this book 5 out of 5.

"Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that talks about planning for retirement, something many people forget to do. The author points out that people often realize they should have planned for retirement when it's almost too late. He talks about the problems this causes, especially for people in his country, and compares it to making good decisions early in life.

The book gives practical tips to help people think about and plan for retirement. It's a helpful guide for anyone who wants to understand more about money and preparing for when they stop working.

The book is not just serious – there are also funny parts with jokes that made me laugh. These jokes make the book more enjoyable to read.

At the end of the book, there are questions and things to think about, which I found interesting. They make you stop and think about your own situation. The book also has links to other places where you can learn more, which is cool.

However, I did find that the book's use of financial terminology could be challenging for some readers. The language might require a careful reading or even a second pass to fully grasp the concepts. Despite this, the overall quality of the book is excellent, offering essential insights into retirement planning. The book is very well edited.

What stood out to me while reading was the author's impressive depth of knowledge in finance. He addresses the tendency for people to spend excessively in their younger years without saving for the future when they may not be able to work as actively.

To sum up, "Reconfigurement" is a good book for anyone who wants to learn about planning for when they stop working. The author knows a lot about money, and the book has funny parts too. It's a helpful guide that makes you think and gives you more links to learn even more.
