Review of Cottonwood Farm--a romance
Jonah Schumann had seven children and lived on a farm. The farm used to be covered with Cottonwood trees that everyone just loved. The Cottonwood trees became infested with Bark Beetles and had to be cut down as they were dying. Jonah replaced them with Elm trees, but they were just not the same. Jonah hired a guy to paint the outside of his farmhouse. His name was Jake, and he had black hair and deep green eyes. One day, while painting the house, Jake adjusted his ladder against the house, which woke up one of Jonah’s daughters named Kary. She ran outside to find out who or what made the noise, and that was it! She had fallen for Mr. Green Eyes. Read the book and follow the love story of Jake and Kary and find out the outcome of two people who are truly meant to be together.
Cottonwood Farms…A Romance by Dor’y Nicholas is a beautiful romance novel. It has everything you would expect a romance novel to have, plus a little roller coaster of a ride. After all, things don’t always go smoothly, even if two people are made for each other.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book. It fulfilled my fantasies of a reader who enjoys being swept up in a story with all of the emotions that come with it. The author successfully made all the characters likable, and the writing flowed easily, and you understood every word. I highly recommend this book to readers who are into romance novels or anyone who just likes a good book to read on a rainy afternoon. There is not too much profanity or explicit sex, so I would think that a young adult could read it. The book was well-edited, as I did not find any errors. Because of that and the fact that I loved the storyline, I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is that good.
