This short novel Through Withered Weeds Flowers by B.E. Thompson was focused on Karen’s life, from childhood to maturity. Karen took the readers on a journey through her life. She shared her struggles and how she overcame them along the way.

Karen had witnessed her parents fight over a wide range of issues as a child. Her father started abusing her sexually at a young age, robbing her of her childhood innocence. She was also raped, but since no one in her family cared for her, she had no one to talk to about it. One trait I loved about her was that she had no trouble making friends when she was younger, which helped her forget about her family’s disregard for her. One day, on the playground, Karen was accidentally hit in the eye with a metal object, which caused serious damage to her eye. From then on, things were not so smooth, but was she able to pull through? Join Karen as she shares her story.

The style of writing in this book gave the impression that the author was speaking with a close friend. The parts of this book that most intrigued me were the ones where Karen discussed her interests in theatre, music, sports, and other artistic endeavours. After reading through this book, I can conclude that it was well-deserving of its title, as the story resonated with it.

This book took me through a series of emotions, such as pity, fear, sadness, and lots more. Sadly, what Karen faced is not uncommon these days. A lot of young girls go through the same thing. I found a lot of grammar and punctuation errors while reading through this book, and I would say that it needs another round of editing. Apart from this, there was nothing I disliked about this book. Therefore, I rate Through Withered Weeds Flowers Bloom by B.E. Thompson 3 out of 5 stars.

Overall, I enjoyed reading through this book. I recommend it, especially to people who have gone through or are going through a difficult stage in life. This book is a reassurance that there is always light at the end of the tunnel if you put your trust in God.

The story in the book is particularly motivating for people who have experienced traumatic events in their lives. Wonderful book, but since it's so short, I'd also suggest editing it again, which should be simpler.

The book is an inspiration to everyone including both genders because both genders can be raped. so I think where ever you find yourself be encouraged and stay positive irrespective from where you have been
