Who told you, you were naked by William. E. Combs is basically a review of the popular story of the garden of Eden, the fall of Adam and Eve and its relation to some basic fundamentals in Christianity and fellowship with God. The writer started on a warm note with a background story of a fascinating experience he encountered during his childhood and how it gave him a new revelation and a deeper understanding of the beginning of mankind and other things which he later wrote in the book

The first few chapters of the book got me intrigued as the writer gave a very refreshing and well descriptive story about Adam and his activities in the garden and it felt real. I could almost feel like I was at the garden closely viewing the whole experience. Then he continued into the saddening fall of Adam and Eve whom by their desire to be like their maker and by the serpents deceptive persuasion, disobeyed God's instruction and eventually got separated from their maker. "Spiritual death" in the writers words .

leaving the garden, they didn't leave with much but one thing that was sure was, they now had the knowledge of good and evil which became sort of an inheritance to not just their direct descendants but mankind as a whole and a burdensome one at that. The very source of sin and hopelessness in man. The writer also showed how God gave a remedy to this helpless state in man. And he taught on various impediments to our walk with Christ and biblical solutions for them.

Personally the part of the book which I enjoyed most was the journey through the garden of Eden. It felt very real. I actually hated that it had to end at some point but i liked the fact that a lot questions that might be going through the reader's mind was answered by the writer. He gave a lot of thorough explanations and I think it would particularly be very helpful to people who are new in the Christian faith and are somewhat seeking answers. It is a very informative book and it brings a whole new perspective to the mind of the reader. My only problem with the book was that too much depth was given about sin towards the ending and this got me lost at some point. But apart from that, it is a very nice book to read.

I would give the book 4 out of 4 stars because i think it is a very good book. Although I got lost with the depth at some parts, I feel that's okay because some people might enjoy that about the book.
