Lara and Uri were having their romantic vacation in Ohio and also getting to know each other's families. Their vacation was quickly interrupted when a brutal event occurred, claiming many lives and injuring some. Precisely, some men in black entered the Beverly Hills Mall and surreptitiously positioned themselves to cover every corner of the mall. They first destabilized the crowd by throwing up gas grenades, followed by shooting firearms. They have quickly taken their lives alongside them, and tracing their source could be hard to decipher. The newlyweds did not hesitate to abandon their vacation and opted to help the government find the underlying perpetrator. Lara, as an adjunct Mossad agent and an official FBI agent. They are intent on using their professional expertise to unravel the mystery. The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is an action-thriller story full of informative plot twists. It tells of America’s brutal entanglement under the sinister influence of some yet unknown terrorists. Uri and Lara, the interesting protagonists, are on their feet again to help out.

The book grips readers right from the start of the narrative, as it is written suspensefully with a sense of preparation for the heart-pounding events ahead. I quickly fell in love with the characters of Uri and Lara, as they appear as major and refreshing plot twists in the book, and as I read, I could not wait to read their investigative movies and struggles in getting the plot’s conflict and resolution.

I love the instant gripping quality of the book, as it is written with touches of suspense right from the beginning. The writing tone and description of heart-pounding scenes that come to mind vividly are another interesting feature of the book. The courageous and determined roles of Uri and Lara caught my attention, and I quickly saw them as saviors who eased my tension after the previous deadly scenes I'd read. The book also shows signs that meticulous research and knowledge about the culture in which the story is told have gone into crafting the plot. With the great writing skills of Winnick, the nature of each character is accurately and vividly portrayed. I especially love the portrayal of the antagonists, the Islamic terrorists, which comes across as real, as though the malicious events they triggered in the story are true.

I would like to rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because I found nothing to dislike in it. It has been edited exceptionally well, as I found no grammar errors in it. I would recommend the book to lovers of action and thrilling scenes.
