“Man Mission” by Eytan Uliel follows the lives of four friends on a journey to discover beautiful places. The main character forms a friendship with Sam, who, after visiting the food fair, creates a lasting impact on Alec and Daniel. The four friends established Man Mission after a conversation at the Food Fair, but it was years later that they embarked on those halfway-planned adventures in New Zealand, Japan, Australia, South Africa, and Iceland, despite experiencing painful experiences. As the book says, “ego mixed with adrenaline will drive men to do crazy things." The group's adventures changed each participant's life, bringing joy and pain to the four men amidst changing family dynamics.

Despite opposition from "The Wives Committee," formed by the partners of the men, the men persisted in their annual mission. Each year, they not only physically exerted themselves but also shared their life challenges, provided mutual support, and enjoyed traveling the world together. Through laughter, tears, overcoming obstacles, and enduring injuries, they remained steadfast companions throughout the fifteen years of the Man Mission. The author adeptly weaves numerous memorable Man Mission moments with flashbacks to domestic life, showcasing Uliel's infectious humor as he recounts the protagonists' amusing escapades, such as their encounter with a herd of cows and the inevitable dung on their boots.

I loved how the author captured the emotions displayed by the characters, like how ecstatic the news of the pregnancy was for the new couple and the banter and bromance between the friends. There was nothing I disliked about this book.

The book was impeccably edited, as I didn't come across any errors. "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel is a delightful read, earning a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars from me. I recommend this to readers who relish a compelling blend of drama, humor, romance, and adventure in a fiction novel. They will undoubtedly savor this book. I have to mention, too, that only mature readers should pick up this read because of the strong language included.
