"Truth and Evil" by G. Edward Martin is an intriguing novel set during World War II. The story follows a 20-year-old German soldier who, after committing a heinous act, dies and finds himself at the mercy of God. Given a chance to right his wrongs, the soldier is sent back to Earth several times to redo his decisions. With each journey back to Earth, the soldier faces a different kind of emotional turmoil as he grapples with the conflict between his loyalty to his country and his moral conscience. He finds that his individual decisions can greatly affect others. The story is a poignant exploration of the struggle between good and evil, and the power of individual decisions.

The author's writing is both thought-provoking and engaging, with a perfect balance between moral teachings and storytelling. The novel is written from the perspective of a German soldier under Hitler's regime, adding an extra layer of intensity and depth to the narrative. The author does an excellent job of weaving in historical events from that period, which helps to give the story a sense of authenticity.
