I want to tell you
Over and over again
That you are good
Whatever and however
You want to define being good
I want to show you my frustration
At your insistence on believing that
You are a bad person with no
Real reason
Yet I am afraid
I fear hurting you
While trying to help
I fear overstepping
I fear that I am overestimating
Our friendship and that it simply
Is not my place to say so
Last time I could not say it
But I promise
The next time, I will try my best and more
