Finished "One plus One" by JoJo Moyes,Looking for similar

Post by CryhavocMars »

I just finished a JoJo Moyes book called "One plus One" and am looking for similar stories.

I really enjoy this genre of romance novel. One partner down on their luck and cynical to love. The other with means but also cynical to love. Eventually they figure it out.

Other books like this I've read and thoroughly enjoyed are;
- the Samaria series by Sharon Shinn,
- Suddenly Engaged by Julia London.

BTW... "One plus One" was a much more enjoyable story than her book they made a movie from, "Me Before You".

My word! I was so angry and depressed after watching "Me Before You". The premise was really interesting and fun to start off (hah, yeah tragic is my idea of fun). I'll have to look up the book now.

There's a book called Halos that's about a young woman getting stranded in a small town. She's pretty optimistic despite her circumstances, and a bitter single guy helps her out. Its written by Kristen Heitzman. There's no substantial physical injuries like in One Plus One, but kind of that "reluctant" love story.

Gosh, thank you so much, I'm really looking forward to checking out the book now! :P
