Review of Backcomb & Tattoo
The book "Backcomb & Tattoo" by Shea R Embry is a touching story of four women who understood the value of friendship and stood by each other in the long run.
It began with Rachael, whose husband is a popular singer. When she went to visit a friend across the street, she met Aunt Mary Opal, who was much older than her. Rachael met Jesi when she visited Spain for a vacation. Nicole was the fourth woman whom Rachael met, but before then, Aunt Mary Opal had encountered her when she went to visit a counsellor. That day, Nicole looked sad and frustrated, giving Aunt Mary Opal no chance to talk to her. Nicole became the last in the group, and they all helped her navigate through life, as they had been helping each other.
Rachael's husband, Jake, treated her badly and was often absent due to his music schedule. Aunt Mary Opal had a condition that was her little secret. Jesi was a lesbian. She always wondered if she could commit to one person because she enjoyed her sex life with multiple partners. Nicole had emotional problems stemming from a broken relationship. Despite their problems and differences, these women never cared about such things and were always there for each other.
This book is very interesting. I enjoyed reading it because of the writer's style of writing. Some parts of this book were humorous, and it had well-developed characters. The support and love between these four women were very evident, especially during trying times.
I found nothing to dislike about this book. The wording and narrative were very simple and easy to understand. The book was perfectly edited since I didn't notice any grammatical errors. I would rate this book five out of five stars because of the commendable writing and the lessons learned while reading.
In conclusion, this book would be a perfect choice for most people because of the messages and lessons which would be beneficial to the readers. I would recommend this book to people who value friendship and would love to learn more.
