Are you easily disturbed when life doesn’t work out as planned? Do you pray and wonder why God doesn’t heed your requests? Have you ever pondered your mission in this life? “The Move” by O.K. Johnson is a Christian book that narrates the journey of a believer experiencing difficult situations and trying to find out where their trust lies. The story revolves around the author and his wife, Patti, as they recount their personal encounter with building faith in God.

The author states that it’s also important to demonstrate our faith, not just by believing. We, as human beings, have a propensity to hasten things up without considering that God operates in conformity with his plans. Johnson highlights the need to have faith in God and not lose hope. In this book, I learned that we should not do things based on our will but according to God’s will. This is an obligation Christians need to fulfill. God protects us and grants us our innermost desires; hence, there’s a need for Him to be at the centre of our lives and activities. We might even lose valuable items if we don’t involve him in our daily lives, just because we fail to hear from him before executing something.

In addition, the spirit of discernment is necessary, as it helps one distinguish the voice of God from that of the devil. It is important to note that the devil doesn’t want us to succeed, which is why he keeps fighting us in any way possible. Therefore, we should watch out for his antics and become spiritually alert.

I love the author’s style of writing, which I find comprehensive. Again, the use of Bible quotations to drive home his point is something I must commend. I found some of the scenarios relatable, and I don’t regret reading the book. The book has spotless editing, as I found no errors. Therefore, I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating. There is no dislike to point out in this book, as the lessons learned are highly beneficial to one's spiritual life.

If you’re looking to have a cordial relationship with God, then you should get this book, as it’s a Christian book in all ramifications. This book helps boost one’s confidence in God and also helps backsliding Christians completely turn back to Him.

I have read the book too, the way Johnson and his wife Patti do everything to fulfill God's plan is wonderful. I posted a review too, but I agree with you in many things!
