We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a science fiction and fantasy novel that revolves around a small kingdom of Voulhire. The author tells us a story of Galen Bray, who was a young man from the Land of Princes, where everyday life was a struggle between what to eat and death. Galen Bray escaped from his home town and was determined to make the best out of himself in Magnum Caelum after inheriting a fortune from his uncle.

The book has a map in the beginning, which is of great help as it helps us visualise Galen Bray and Rowan on their journey as they navigate the road to Voulhire Cities. We also get the story of Lord Eldus, who was the new lord of Hillport after Lord Meldorath, who was a powerful mage. Lord Eldus is tasked with protecting the town from a group of rebels. Did they survive? The author takes you through all that.

I liked the way the author chose his characters. Each character played a good role. The book is filled with a lot of fantasy, which helps readers build on their imagination. The use of suspense made the book more fun to read, as I was eager to know what would happen next, which made me want to read more.

I would rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. There is nothing I dislike about the book. It is well edited, as I found no typing error. The author uses simple language, which makes it easier for any age group to read the book. There are also no erotic scenes in the story. I would recommend the book to lovers of mystery and suspense. At the end of the story, I was left with suspense, and now I am waiting for the next series of the story to know whatever happened next. I really enjoyed reading the book.
