This fantasy novel introduces us to the Kingdom of Voulhire. The novel introduces a young man, named Galen, who moves from the Land of the Princess to Voulhire, seeking to escape his troubled past to seek a new start. Voulhire has many nine cities; the capital city of Voulhire is Soulhire, where King Wilhelm stays. Voulhire is a city with its own set of rules, conflicts, magical influences, and political instability. Galen knows nothing about Voulhire; he did not know of the bad deeds in the kingdom. He gets to familiarise himself with the environment where he meets Rowan, who helps him to inherit his uncle's house and forge. In the process of getting to know the land of Voulhire, he gets involved in the conflicts. There's a rebellious group called Riva Rovi who dance in wild steps as they slaughter all who contribute to the prosperity of the land they so despise. As the story flows, we also get to know of the island guarded by an armada of sheep. The King of Voulhire, King Wilhem, wants to ensure the safety of his kingdom. These are the times that Galen decides to do what it takes to ensure the wellness of his new people of Voulhire. The Kingdom of Voulhire went through challenges and became unstable; the kingdom was once thriving. The story has different characters. We came to learn about Midius Maido. Midius is a Chancellor of the Mianoran Council; he is determined to check to the king’s power to rule the people of Voulhire. We also learnt about Meldorath; Meldorath is a former general; he overthrew Orlin to briefly become Hillport’s lord; afterwards, he was arrested and sent to die in an undisclosed location. There is Emporer Lullabies, who had gifted his four sons islands in the southern part of Voulhire because he feared being killed by his own sons who wanted to take his throne. There is Eldus Alderma, a former judge and new lord of Hillport, whose aim is to bring the rural southern town down to its true potential. This is an amazing fantasy read. I liked the book in totality. It is a great book, highly recommended to anyone who likes fantasy stories. This is a must-read novel. I did not find anything to dislike about the book. I did not find any errors; the book was edited perfectly, so I proudly rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. That is what the book deserves.
