Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is authored by Kalliope Barlis, a former pro golfer and a licensed NLP coach. This book is a guide to improving one's golfing skills using a unique NLP-based approach to the game.

The book contains short notes to assist the reader in utilizing the book's resources before delving into the main content. It mainly focuses on game improvement by imbuing mental prowess and motor abilities in both practice and in games while being vigilant and observant of oneself and the surroundings.

More often than not, we tend to overlook the role of our mental prowess not only in golf but even in most other instances of life. Kalliope, with her experience as an NLP coach, employs neurolinguistic programming as the basis for developing the mind into an essential asset to the game.

According to her, a good shot can be taken with a good approach, but what is more important is a good visualization of the approach. In the book, she discusses the importance and methods of training the mind to think of better memories or visualize a great play before taking a shot. She believes that having positive memories in our minds can boost our flair for making that game-winning shot.

Surprisingly, while reading the book on numerous occasions, I felt that the advice, both insightful and methodical, could be used in almost every aspect of our lives.

"The Little Golf Book" is conveniently "little" enough and can be a great accessory to carry around while golfing, thanks to its little size and precise instructions, which can be helpful for instances, and you don't even need to read whole chunks to get to an answer because of how the book is designed.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author's usage of easy-to-read language combined with the commendable editing are the major reasons for my rating. Furthermore, the use of images, I feel, was among the best things in the book. One can read and read and still not understand without a proper imagination of something. And what better way can a book have than by presenting the images, making it far easier to comprehend things that are otherwise hard to get?

However, I advise the reader to have some prior knowledge of the game of golf, since the book mostly refrains from explaining standard golf terms. Lastly, the book is a great acquaintance for golfers wanting to make it big, and I hope my little effort here helps them.
