In the enchanting realm of Voulhire, a captivating tale of magic, courage, and resilience unfolds. Galen Bray, a brave immigrant seeking a fresh start in the kingdom, leaves behind a troubled past. He inherits his great-uncle's blacksmith shop in Magnum Caelum, a city filled with wonder and possibility. However, his dreams of a new life are soon disrupted as he becomes entangled in the challenges facing the kingdom.

A powerful wizard, Dalehei Meldorath, secretly plots his revenge against the king who once betrayed him. Meanwhile, the Riva Rohavi rebels spread fear and chaos throughout the land, exploiting the kingdom's weakness. Amidst this turmoil, King Wilhelm struggles to balance his duties as a ruler with his personal life, striving to keep both his family and kingdom safe.

In another part of the kingdom, Judge Eldus works to revitalize the town of Hillport, which has suffered under poor leadership. He must win over the townspeople and help the town thrive once more. As Galen navigates his new life, he meets a cast of characters, including the humorous Rowan, who add depth and joy to the story.

With vivid descriptions of Voulhire's diverse cities and cultures, this story comes alive. From the advanced city of Virko to the religious town of Yamon Soul, each place is richly detailed, making it easy to imagine the world of Voulhire. Join Galen on his emotional journey, filled with humor, magic, and excitement, as he confronts the kingdom's problems and tries to build a brighter future.

Although the book is almost flawless, a few aspects could be enhanced with further exploration. The three realms introduced in the story could be more fully developed, and certain characters, such as Prince Darius and King Wilhelm's wife, seem somewhat underdeveloped.

I highly recommend this book to mature fantasy enthusiasts who enjoy epic fantasy novels with complex world-building and magical action.

There is nothing to dislike about this book, as it is truly intriguing. I give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. The author's keen attention to detail, captivating plot, and unforgettable characters make this a must-read for fantasy enthusiasts. With its exceptional editing and captivating storytelling, "We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz is a true gem in the fantasy genre.
