Heart and Harmony: Poetic Reflections on Legendary Singers by Archie Luper is a poetic book displaying the biographies and careers of some of the most popular and talented singers of recent times. The book is a dedication to the author’s sister, who has always supported his work and passion. Each chapter starts with a biographical review of a singer or a band, personal life details, famous quotes, and interesting facts. Then come the actual poems of the author, displaying the artists' journey through their careers, a few words about their managers, the circumstances they came from, and much more. The poems display the road the singers walked from the beginning to the present day.

I loved how well-educated the author was about the singers. It was obvious that he had done good research before writing the book, as there was a lot of interesting and not-so-broadly-known information contained. I loved learning more about recent music stars; there was a lot for me to find out from this book. The book was exceptionally edited, as I came across no errors in it. The poems were well-rhymed, interesting, and informative. They were narrative poems, and I enjoyed reading them.

Despite my doubts as to whether some of the singers deserved to be in this book, it was the author’s preference who to write about. Viewpoints and tastes in music always differ between people. Otherwise, there was no downside to this book. The poems were just the right length and nicely displayed the most important information about the lives and careers of each artist.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its great editing, the author’s great writing style, and its informativeness. There was nothing I seriously disliked about this book. I recommend it to people who enjoy listening to recent artists and would like to learn more about their work and lives. Music lovers will find it very interesting.
