Kitty Arcenaux's "Ruth Ready" delves deeply into the biblical story of Ruth and Boaz, providing significant ideas for both married and single women seeking happiness and love. The author masterfully uses Ruth's story to teach timeless truths about faith, patience, and the value of divine purpose in relationships.

What sticks out in this book is Kitty's serious examination of marital vows. She digs into the traditional and Buddhist approaches, emphasizing how both require selflessness, support, and a profound understanding between couples. This comparison invites readers, regardless of religious background, to consider the essence of commitment in marriage.

I loved how the author clearly identified her target audience, making the book especially relevant to individuals dealing with the complications of marriage. The book's discussions about marriage are eye-opening and based on personal experiences. Kitty concludes the book with accounts from married men and women, bringing a rich, personal element to the narrative. Furthermore, the book's compact design allows for a quick but impactful read that can be completed in one sitting. It is a wonderful motivational Christian book that will guide ladies through the process of building a lasting marriage.

While the book is based on religious themes, its primary messages of love, respect, and dedication are universal, making it suitable for all readers, regardless of creed. One part that stood out to me was the author's decision to refer to God as "G-d" throughout the book. While this is definitely intended and not a typographical accident, an explanation for the choice would have been appreciated.

The book's perfect editing, lucid prose, and captivating plot merit high praise. "Ruth Ready" excels in almost all areas, with just a minor point of curiosity regarding the reference of God in the book. However, it did not spoil my experience of reading the book. I rate this book five out of five stars because of its profound subject. Though there is a point of curiosity regarding the reference to God in the book, it did not affect my reading experience at all.
