Lone Vamp

Post by Eddy Ommie »

In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A creature stirs, forever gray.
Eternal life, a curse to bear,
A vampire's fate, beyond repair.

With eyes aglow, like lantern bright,
He stalks the night, a silent flight.
His heart beats not, his soul astray,
Forever bound to endless day.

The moon's pale light, his guiding ray,
He walks alone, in endless gray.
His thirst for blood, a constant pain,
A hunger that can never wane.

With fangs that shine, like sharpened steel,
He claims his prey, a fatal reveal.
A kiss of death, a whispered sigh,
And mortal life slips by.

Yet, in his heart, a spark remains,
A glimmer of his human pains.
A memory of love, a distant past,
A longing that will forever last.

Forever cursed, forever alone,
The vampire walks, his path unknown.
Through ages dark, through endless night,
He searches for the morning light.
