The suspense book, ''Faults'' by Orion Gregory, is a narrative about one promising young tennis player Sydney Livingstone, whose life turns upside down when she makes it big on the professional tennis circuit and falls victim to a stalker.

The story is so well written that it creates a tense and atmospheric narrative. The whole time I was reading, I was in suspense because the identity of the stalker was kept mysterious until the very end. Gregory's mind-blowing indicative descriptions of tennis matches and tense moments build on the tension created throughout the book.

This book has a lot of strengths, with one that really stands out among the rest is its well-developed characters. Sydney is not only a very relatable protagonist but also a very sympathetic one: her journey from being a promising young player to a world-class athlete is both very inspiring and suspenseful at the same time. The supporting characters, coach, family, and friends add some depth and complexity to the story.

I truly loved the combination of professional tennis sensations and the thriller elements in it. I could almost feel like sitting courtside because of how great the description is about the tennis matches. For instance, at a crucial moment, as Sydney plays an important game, the author uses words to describe the tension of the situation at that particular moment atmosphere full of dispersed tension, the thundering crowd, and the concentration with which Sydney was set to win. That's how it thrust me into the very middle of it with tremendous excitement.

It is an amazing book but if I have to point out a shortcoming then I would say that the detailed descriptions of tennis matches could be overwhelming for readers who are not familiar with the sport. But it is a minor issue and would not seem to at all reduce the book enjoyment in this case.

The editing of this book is amazing as I did not find any grammar errors or typos. One more thing to mention about the content is that it has some explicit language and profanities, so the readers should be aware of it if they are sensitive to such content.

Overall, "Faults" is a very interesting and excitingly suspenseful book that is well penned for readers of that genre. If you like fast-moving plots with suspenseful turns and well-developed characters, then this book should appeal to you. I will give it 5 out of 5 stars because I do not have any reason to deduct stars.
