Survive! Marooned on Planet Tau Ceti g by Charles P. Graham is a science fiction book that expertly combines thrilling survival scenarios with scientific details. The story begins with a catastrophic meteor shower that destroys the spacecraft "Copernicus", leaving only a few survivors who managed to escape with little supplies, stranded in an unfamiliar world. The survivors—a group of skilled professionals—are thrust into a harsh and strange environment with only their wits and limited resources to rely on. As they waited for rescue, they had to figure out how to adapt and survive by sourcing out drinking water from morning dew, constructing shelter from alien materials and keeping to safety in the strange environment while discovering new things.

This book is more than just a setting; The author brought the planet to life with its detailed explanation, making its alien ecosystem feel startlingly real. The introduction of the dogs—dog-like creatures with pig-like features— became integral to the story, forging bonds with the humans and demonstrating intelligence and loyalty in ways that tug at the heartstrings.

I enjoyed reading the book as different adventures unfolded in each chapter. The author did a good job of writing skillfully without adding too many scientific words which can be difficult to understand. The book is professionally edited, and I couldn't find any errors or something to criticize.

I give the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars as it balances science and fiction without neglecting the story. The blend of characters, foreign ecosystem and human relationship with the strange dog-like creature makes it an enriching and entertaining read.

I recommend this book to anyone who is a lover of fiction and mystery. I also recommend this book to people who love adventures as this teaches how to navigate in a foreign environment with limited resources.
