Review of 3000 Orgasms
Sex is often a taboo subject many people tend to shy away from. Women’s pleasure is widely disregarded and overlooked. Societal norms and practices have led to most women refraining from expressing themselves and prioritizing their sexual needs. If you are looking for a book that will help you enhance your pleasure and rediscover yourself sexually, then you should grab yourself a copy of 3000 Orgasms by Rebecca Ferguson.
3000 Orgasms is part memoir and self help guide. The author shares her sexual journey from her younger years to navigating life past divorce. She shares her personal experience in marriage. The sexual incompatibility and other frustrations she experienced in her marriage are what led to her and her husband, David, divorcing. Rebecca’s new sense of freedom brings with it an opportunity to explore her sexuality in ways that she had not before. She also manages to relearn and connect with her body.
3000 Orgasms is a fairly short read. It is only 143 pages long and contains 15 chapters (including two bonus chapters). The book has three sections. The first and second parts mainly focus on the author’s life. The third part is an intimacy guide containing exercises, advice, and strategies that readers should use to improve intimacy.
Kudos to Rebecca Ferguson for writing 3000 Orgasms. She shares personal details of her life throughout the book. Sharing aspects of your private life with strangers isn’t easy. I appreciate her allowing readers to learn through her experience. She shares plenty of beneficial information and resources throughout the book. Some resources include downloadable worksheets, links, screenshots of data from the apps she used, and app and book recommendations. She also shares helpful guides throughout the book.
I also like that there are two bonus chapters at the end of 3000 Orgasms. One shares real-life stories, and the other chapter is supposed to be read by men. I liked reading the stories of the people Rebecca has assisted. They show that if you take her help seriously, you can make great strides in your healing and self-love journey.
In summary, I have settled on giving 3000 Orgasms by Rebecca Ferguson an overall rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Giving this book a lower rating would be ingenuine because it deserves a high rating. If the rating system could surpass five, I would give it all possible stars. I also do not have any negative critiques for this book.
I find 3000 Orgasms to be an extremely informative and sex-positive book. There is plenty of interesting information that I’ll be incorporating into my life. While reading, I only found one minor error that did not detract from the reading experience. Therefore, it is safe to say that professionals must have done the editing. I recommend 3000 Orgasms to both women and men who are interested in enhancing their sex lives. Given the nature of this book, it is unsuitable for younger readers.
