Looking For a Book

Hello, Everyone

I was reading a book a couple years ago, and for the life of me I cannot remember the title. Heres a little description:
It starts off with a succesful lawyer, he is pretty young and is married with a wife. He has to represent a client that is not in her right mind.
The story then continues with the back-drop of the client and how she got there. There are three different women commiting murders, but all these murders seem to happen around this one person, his client. Fast-Forward and they uncover she has multiple personality disorder, which inherited due to her father molesting her. She, or rather her other personalities, have killed multiple people including an investigator. The ending is sort of fuzzy, but I remember her pleading insanity and going to a medical clinic where she then escapes.

I know this isn't much, but the story was really amazing with a couple hundred pages. If anyone has any clue at what this book is called, please respond.
