This book is author's marvellous journey to understand the prevalent educational philosophies and teaching styles. The author's sense of responsibility has opened the doors to creative teaching methodologies. This book is colourful picture of author's thought process and actions spanned over first fifteen years of his teaching experience to seek teacher archetype. He found ways and means to infuse interest in subjects like algebra, geometry, history, and the arts. Expressing the subjects in folk language and relating them to daily life is captivating. The author provides fascinating perspectives on different subjects. The relationship between teachers, students, and their parents is more important and effective in creating a positive learning environment than the application of impersonal management and disciplinary techniques. Despite being expelled from school, the authority continues his style of teaching. From becoming a professional teacher to defining an educational philosophy, the author has studied perspectives and opinions of great scholars who have written extensively about education and the educational system.
In the author's opinion, the art of teaching is to keep the balance between the sacred and public trusts while teaching the four purposes of education in the classroom: occupational, socializing the common beliefs, attitudes, values, and behaviors; teaching the universal humanist values of all cultural identities; and helping children achieve their highest holistic potential by recognizing the archetypal characteristics in their personalities. The author's experiences with students have made the book lively and intriguing. In thought-provoking instances, the author reminds all stakeholders that it is not sufficient to merely focus on standardization but what is of huge importance is a cultivation of nurturers of the mind and soul.

To conclude, I would say that the book carries an abundance of guidance and wisdom for people who are torchbearers of knowledge. I would give five out of five for this masterpiece. However, I suggest including a timeline of the author's teaching career in the introduction of the book for better focus while reading the book.
