Apala Banerjee is the author of Harmony: The Saga of the Earth. The majority of the book's sales proceeds are given to a charity that helps people affected by COVID-19.

The collection Harmony consists of thirty poems, each followed by an illustration that is relevant to the poem. A book award called "Literary Titan" was also given to Harmony for the author's work, which was completed when she was in the 10th grade. Considering her age, her writing is excellent. She has a natural talent for writing poetry.

Despite the fact that her poetry contains numerous facts, this is a fictional literary work. The facts are legitimate and logical, which lends the writing a realistic feel.

The author of the poetry discussed COVID-19, environmental factors, and the extinction of species.

One of my favorite poems is "Contemplate." She wrote, "A grave cost to pay for enjoyment and laughs....a coat with the sheds of mink," which particularly moved me. A couple of years ago, I bought a mink for myself at a secondhand store before Christmas. To be fair, I needed a coat for the winter.

None of the author's poetry is something I find objectionable. They rank among the best that I have ever read, in my opinion. I believe her poetry serves as the inspiration for her illustrations. There are ten illustrations in all, including a sunset, bluebells, a sea turtle, trees with a park bench, and more.

The book is perfectly edited. I give the poetry a 5 out of 5 stars due to the brilliance of the writing of the poetry and illustrations. I suggest Harmony: The Saga of the Earth to readers in the fifth through twelfth grades, as well as college students and adults.

I think I would like more of this author's work because I like her poetry.
