I was reading 14000 things to make you happy and i was actually really surprised with how happy just reading happy lists made me! So, of course, you lovely people came to mind and now i'm curious. What's 20 everyday thing's that make you happy?

Mine:
1. The warm fuzzy feeling you get right before you fall asleep.
2. Elton John's Tiny Dancer coming on and saving awkward moments. <3
(Everyone loves that song.. even if they wont admit it... they know the words.)
3. The very smell of babies, coffee, and books (both old and new.)
4. Brigadoon's dancing through the heathers scene.
5. Playing in the rain.
6. Nancy Sinatra's Sugartown.
7. Movies in foreign languages (and English subtitles.)
8. The "on top of the world" feeling when your wearing heels.
9. Short men that try to look tall around taller women.
10. Hearing elder people talk about growing up and thing's they've seen and done in their lifetimes.
11. Making up your own dialogue for silent films.
12. That boyish grin guys get when they look at you.
13. Walking barefoot on green grass.
14. Drinking iced sweet tea on hot summer days.
15. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. No scratch that. Johnny Depp as ANYONE. Yum.
16. Staying warm on snowy days to cuddle with a good book.
17. When attractive men in movies take their shirts off...
18. That amazing smell of food that fill's your house.
19. The "I can't believe I'm alive!" feeling after you almost die.
20. Hearing your sleeping cat purr when it's snuggling with you.

1. A warm cup of tea when coming back home on a freezing day
2. Sitting by the fireplace with a book
3. My dog coming to get a hug
4. Finding a letter in my mail box^^
5. And then writing a letter while having a cup of tea
6. Rummaging in a bookstore
7. Watching a good non-hollywood movie
8. Going out with friends
9. Rolling sushi
10. Seeing the fresh snow sparkle in the evening
11. Hearing some song I like
12. Learning some new Spanish word
13. Musicals
14. Hot summer nights
15. Remiding myself something funny and laughting to myself in some public place
16. Singing in the car when noone is around (I sing terribly )
17. Lying in the grass in summer
18. Looking at the stars
19. Travelling anywhere, even if it's just out of town
20. Getting to know some interesting fact about other countries

1. The satisfying feeling you get clocking out of work on Friday afternoon, knowing you have the weekend free.
2. Paying a large or expensive bill from honest and hard earned money.
3. The feel of a new hardback King novel.
4. Having a laugh with friends in a pub when nobody is in a rush.
5. Seeing family healthy and happy.
6. Watching an excellent horror movie in a packed cinema.
7. Landing on the runway somewhere foreign on the first day of a holiday.
8. Lucozade!
9. The online book club- mad but brilliant and some very nice people here.
10. Not making one of lifes mistakes again- being able to say to yourself "I am older and wiser now"
11. Labrador puppies and their infectious lust for life.
12. When an important project in work is finally signed off and successful after weeks of hard work, in other words, making a difference.
13. Christmas Day.
14. Browsing a nice and quiet bookstore with lots of time and vouchers.
15. Dancing when drunk- even your worst enemy is your best friend!
16. A nice brisk walk in the park.
17. The breathless feeling you get when a great TV show ends on a cliffhanger i.e. "You cant just end like that!".
18. Having holidays.
19. Chicago the musical -sexy, sassy and some brilliant tunes.
20. Catching the eye of someone you fancy and they smile back.

1. Waking up to a freshly fallen snow
2. Jumping between the sheets of a cool comfortable bed.
3. When your 3 year old nephew says "I love you" just because he wanted to

5. The sounds of water lapping at the docks
6. A nicely packed bowl
7. Finding a 20$ bill in a pair of jeans you're about to wash
8. Trees
9. Standing beneath a trees canopy looking up as it's snowing
10. Listening to any music Jack White is part of he's simply an amazing musician
11. Regina Spektors voice
12. Seeing family and friends at an annual pic-nic.
13. The smell of a ink and paper old and new
14. Helping someone out
15. Reminiscing with old punks
16. Standing in the middle of a stream with hip waders on waiting for a bite.
17. Wayne Rooney scoring a goal....Okay anyone scoring a goal
18. The shape of a woman
19. Homemade chicken soup
20. Boobs

1. Drinking a warm cup of tea while snuggled into my favorite chair.
2. Reading
3. The smell of fresh lavender
4. Clean clothes fresh out of the drier
5. My baby kitty Freddy!!!!!!!!
6. All my other furry children
7. Listening to music while driving around in my car
8. Leaving work on your last day of the work week
9. Watching candles flicker
10. Getting to stay inside watching the snow fall heavily

12. Going to bed knowing that I have no where to be the next day
13. Walking by bagel/donut shops and getting the free smells
14. Bike rides
15. Walks with my husband and my dog
16. Getting to see my husband when he finally walks through the door at the end of the day.

19. Talking with my sister

1. Loggin on to Onlinebookclub & finding lots of new posts to respond to
2. Hearing ‘Fairytale of New York’ on the Radio .. then I know Xmas is on the way
3. The smell of freshly baked bread with lashings of butter
4. Coming home to a warm fire on a cold & miserable day
5. Old style pub with a warm fire, decent barman, a few singers, poetry buffs, raconteurs and not a ‘poser’ in site.
6. Being whistled at while passing a building site
7. Getting an impulsive hug from my 15year old nephew
8. Smell of incense at Xmas Mass
9. Hearing the National Anthem being sung in Croke Park
10. The broad majestic Shannon from the air as my plane comes in to land
11. Smell of aftershave while slow dancing with my beloved
12. The signpost for my home town
13. Standing on Dun Aonghusa on the Aran Islands, 100m above the Atlantic & contemplating our insignificance
14. Lying in the arms of my beloved gazing up at the millions & millions of stars
15. The first cup of tea in the morning
16. Reading time without interruption
17. Emptying my bookbag after a visit to the library or bookshop or finding the Amazon package in the hall
18. Singing at the top of my voice in the car alone (I can sing but no one can listen to me!)
19. Bag of chips on the way home from the pub
20. Sound of the cork exiting the neck of a nice bottle of red wine

12. chewing on guitar picks, lollipop sticks, pen caps, and other plastic things.
13. Sex and related things.
14. Mixing up your words such as "I don't shower much and need to sleep in the morning" instead of "I don't sleep much and need to shower in the morning."
15. Combining words: Maloser, fantabulous.
16. Nerf guns.
17. Music forever.
18. Language variety.
19. Late night/early morning escapades.
20. Anxiety from almost getting caught doing something you really shouldn't or don't want someone to know.
21. When someone thinks they know something about you and hold it over you, but you know it's not true and you can totally prove them wrong.
