Have you ever lived in a tropical forest? Can you imagine two adults getting trapped in a valley with no way leading out of it? If the persons are two boys of twelve, with no tools except two catapults and a chopper, the situation is more horrible.

The Valley of the Mountain Goddess (Createspace 2011, Joseph Narimattom)tells the exciting story of Sabu and Rajan and their heroic survival in the dense South Indian woods for more than a year. I read on, very often holding my breath, till I finished reading the last page.
