Curve Couture by H M Irwing is a fictional book with a heavy dose of romance. It encapsulates the self discovery of an obese Claire with a hot model figure sister,Janice. An insecure Claire opts out of serving as the modelling agent of diabolic Janice. This decision brings her out of the shadows and makes her meet with the love of her life, Erin Robertson.

I enjoyed this absorbing story that perfectly combined romance with the modelling industry. The plots and characters are quite easy to trail. The transitions are smooth between Claire, Erin, Janice, Colin,Tracy and Rafael. The author cleverly takes us though the different stages of Claire's life from being insecure to being bold and comfortable in her own body. There are also flashbacks featuring Claire and Janice, Erin Robertson and his family. The unusually close connection Claire feels with Erin veers the story into a romantic zone. The plot thickens when Janice feels that this connection would affect her dreams.

The author has a real talent for imagery as I was able to soak in the beautiful scenery. The novel's plot provides just enough suspense to keep even the most unenthusiastic reader engaged. My favourite part was when Claire stuck up to her sister. It almost seems like it could be made into a movie since the characters can easily be related with. Well, the only thing is that a lot of things would have to be embellished and over exaggerated. Like more information about Erin's family during the wedding celebration. Did they attend the wedding or not? How was Ricky able to manage Janice and how Janice reacted to it.

Romance flourishes on with Claire finally admitting her love for Erin. Each romance scene was adequately depicted by the author. Still, their modelling careers are carried along. The novel is very well written and the characterization is quite skillful. Dialogue is succinctly constructed and very easy to follow. I found myself actually liking the characters and wanting to know more about them.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. There are no errors. I would really love to read other books by the author in future. Readers who enjoy a romantic plot and those that would want an exposition into the modelling world should add this book to their reading list. You will literally find that the words seem to jump off the pages while evoking real images in the mind of the reader.
