The Superhighway by Alex Fayman is a delightful science fiction for persons interested in science. This novel is written with the intention of filling a void in classroom materials and other science books. Science always changes. Science always grows. I am yet to learn of the ideas discussed in this book in other science novels. Although, it is a science fiction, the book is so refreshing that I understood every bit of it much the same like it were any other fictional novel.

The leading character Alex is a person enthused by love for science from an early stage. He loved computer and the innovations therefrom from an early stage. It is this enthusiasm for computers that pushes him towards his scientific innovations. He has just made an electric network cable. This invention makes him to shift to the electronic world. He is capable of travelling to places through the electric transmissions. The only requisite for this process is a strong network connection which is vital to aid in the transmissions.

I found Alex’s invention to be charming. He uses the electric cable transmission to steal from money from banks and seasoned robbers. It is as a result of his electric cable network transmission that he is able to maneuver his ways into the Swiss banks, the most protected financial institutions on earth. How he does this is magical. He appears and disappears into space with the help of his electric cable. On the other hand, it is ironical that he is interested on using his electric plug network cable to steal money from seasoned gangs. Funnily enough, he gives lots of stolen money to charity organizations and churches.

I loved Alex’s several adventures in the cities of Los Angeles and Amsterdam. Readers would enjoy the several adventures narrated in the story- exploring the city of Amsterdam on bicycles, transit on electric network cables and disappearing into electric systems as rescue from hotel security guards. Such acts were enjoyable. Additionally, I must applaud the authors rich vocabulary and quality of narration. That really enhanced the understanding of this novel.

I had no issue with this novel at all. It is exceptionally well edited and had no errors. I warmly recommend it to persons who love science fictions. All school going children can also read this novel. It would suit them due to its expressly science content. It can be an excellent classroom asset too. I am sure these persons would love this book. I rate this novel at 4 out of 4 stars. I gave it all the four stars because it was highly informative and educative. It enhances a culture of invention amongst the readers. That is positive. I was thrilled by Alex’s ideas.
