I set my goal at around 100 this year. As of today I'm 8.5 in (if you count Greek/Roman classics I read for seminars then maybe 13). 9 books a month average will get me to my goal. Whew! That might be a little tough! But I'm going to take advantage of the beaucoups of free-time I'm going to have until Summer and get down to it! A challenge is good!

I love how there are no origional ideas!! I just happened to start a new book on Jan 1 and thought it would be interesting to see how many I consume this year. So far I'm up to 10.5. The first being The Hunger Games and the . 5 is The Clan of the Cave Bear (for the 4th time).Jazminsdaddy wrote:I read about a book a week.

I'm trying to set a goal for my primary students this year..it's difficult considering they read at least one picture book a day! Any suggestions for 6-8 year olds?

This year I've been writing more frequently so I'm only up to about 20.

I just hate it when work gets in the way of my personal life!audrey_clark wrote:Last year I was a general manager for a hotel. Most of my eight hour day was spent reading when all my work was finished. I read over 200 books last year. This year is different I am now working as a CNA, and I am a full time nursing student. I have only read 50 books. Audrey
