I refuse to watch a show or movie if there is a book on it. I don't know why but I have to read the whole series before Ill watch. it's a tick but I love to know a story fully before seeing what they did with it in live-action.

I think whatever I experienced first, I usually like more. Most times the book wins!

The original is always better than the copy. So the book is always better. But there are some good adaptations of books that aren't terrible to watch because they're very accurate to the source material

I also prefer reading the book.I can picturise each character based on my imagination. There is less detailing in film compared to a book.

If a movie is released which is an adaptation of a book, but I haven't read it, I usually watch the movie without reading the book because I know I will be disappointed if I read and watch the movie. But if the movie has parts and I liked the first part, I read the books before watching the other parts of the movie.

I would rather read the book than watch the movie. The book will give you a clear understanding of the story, the plot and characters involved.

When I read I get sucked into that word so it’s like a movie I don’t see the words anymore so for me it’s always the book

It's definitely, watch the movie first and read the book later. But recently I decided to try reading Harry Potter first before the movie and I actually enjoyed comparing the difference.
