Welcome to Films and Books Forum, the place to chat about movies, post movie reviews, compare a book to its film adaptation, discuss what makes a good book-to-film adaptation, and suggest books which you think would make a great movie adaption.
Let's face it. We all came out of the theatre feeling a little underwhelmed. While the movie was in no way a disaster, we all expected much much more from it. I feel that the biggest reason for the letdown was the hype created after the No Way Home post-credit scene/trailer. The second reason was the underuse of our good Doctor while fighting against Wanda. It could have been a grander experience and instead felt like a rushed version of something magnanimous!
It immediately went wrong when they acted as though they couldn't even try to see if there was a universe where her kids were orphaned that she could go to.....
Woke culture for starters. But if we ignore that, then I think besides that few second sequence, there were not many universes he travelled at. Was it just 3? I think that was it!
