An amazing ride of uncertainties which makes its reader think really hard. 11.05 Murders is an amazing piece of art by Brian O’Hare with lots of twists and turns along the way. This is a suspense Thriller novel which really sticks to its genre.

As the name suggests, the book revolves around the murders which happen at 11.05 each Tuesday week after week. As the investigation progresses one incident comes to light which had happened 12 years ago and it becomes apparent that there is a strong connection between these murders and that incident.
Mr. O’Hare has built some really fabulous characters in this novel. You tend to fall in love with some of the characters specially Sergeant Stewart whose has been really well crafted. Chief Sheehan is another such character who has been portrayed as the Sherlock of the investigating team and the one who is involved in putting the pieces together.

My advice for those readers, who prefer to jump to the start of the book right away without reading the Prologue, would be not to miss the prologue of this one. Its Prologue increases your curiosity and keeps you informed during the full course of Novel. An outstanding achievement for Brian O’Hare would be that he makes you think that you know more than you actually do and you do your calculations and deductions although the author is always one step ahead of the reader.

At one point in the novel there is a major clue spelt out. I was under the impression that this was some kind of printing mistake and was suppose to report this error to the Author :D . But as it turns out that it is the clue which lays an important role at the end in catching the murderer. Good Luck finding that clue (y).

I will give this book a 4 out of 4 Stars as it really satisfies the inner detective in the reader. The other reason for the full score would be that the narration is very well crafted and it’s very simple for the reader to follow along without much of struggle.

Apart from the twists and turns and the mystery surrounding the killer, there is also some adoring romance budding up between Sergeant Denise and Detective Tom Allen. Although Author has built it up really well you somehow end up asking for more of these two. I really wish to see these two characters in O’Hare’s future novels and building upon the intensity which they have built in this one.

All in all this is an outstanding Novel which has all the elements in the right quantity. Nowhere will you feel that things are getting boring. In fact it’s a rapid page turner with you finishing chapter after chapter without even realizing it. Every time you decide to take a break, you will get a thought that I will read a wee bit more of it.
