The creativity of the author is simply amazing! I give this book 3 out of 4 stars. It unveils a beautiful story about a wealthy man named Greg that fell in love with his client's daughter Elise at first sight (while engaged to Lori). The love/hate banter between the two revealed a passionate unity that could not be broken, no matter what drama unfolded in the midst. This book would appeal to the young adults and older individuals that are into romance and goodwill towards men. I would love to see this book in a movie form!

I love how relatable the storyline is. It makes me feel as if I knew these people in real life. The emotions, situations and drama was just the right balance. I did feel that Lori's part could have been reduced some other drama expanded a little more. The beginning shares details of Elise and Greg through their eyes individually and corporately. As you learn more of these characters, you no longer have to question if they were truly made for each other.

They are so alike in displaying stubbornness, apprehension and trust issues. Their views of what they choose in career paths are different: Greg, the passive millionaire that runs the family business instead of pursuing his dream; Elise the Attorney that will stand in harm's way to defend the justice of all people. The group of outside supporters Elise and Greg have only added to the beautiful relationship they have.

Towards the middle, the parents change their perspective of the two and decide that they are indeed crazy and made for each other. The decisions Elise and Greg make are not what the parents would have chosen to do in their day. Let's just say as unorthodox as they may be, the parents choose to be the best support system ever. As the drama unfolded, I will admit that I was left in suspense (and I'm a great problem solver). The intimacy displayed throughout the story was not over the top, it was described very tastefully.

The explanation of the different careers, scenery and characteristics are so real. I can tell that the author either has background knowledge on it firsthand or researched well. This is the first story to the three-part series. I tell you, I was so engaged that I could hardly put the book down! I look forward to finishing the series and reading the other books written by this author.
