"Enlightenment for the Things that Really Matter" by Mark Gumbrell is a book hard to find. It is not listed on Amazon and I couldn't find it on the other companies either. It looks like another self-help book and I am really not interested in reading anymore right now. After reviewing what the reviewer wrote about the book it does sound interesting so I won't say that I won't try to find this book at a library.

We have different opinions about what really matters. Being thankful of what you have is also great advice. I see this book deals with some deep personal issues. I'm not much into philosophical or religious books. Thank you for the recommendation. Amazing review!

Doesn't everyone seek happiness? I agree with the author that if we all chose to show fairness, kindness, and empathy to one another that we would be able to express more gratitude and happiness as a result. Thank you for the informative book review.

Today's BOTD is a thought-provoking, philosphical read that focuses on themes surrounding kindness, empathy, and fair treatment to all. Readers who enjoy religious books about the human condition, self-discovery, and how to make the world a happier place will definitely want to dive into this one! Thank you for your review; it was realy helpful! :-)

Thank you for your great review. It sounds like an interesting book. I'm glad you liked it. Kindness, empathy, and fairness are three wonderful traits. The fact that it is edited so well is a plus also. I'm sure many will enjoy reading this book.

We all need to be reminded from time to time to focus on the things that really matter. This is a review of a book that encourages the reader to maintain this point of view with the support of religious and philosophical ideas. This will help the reader to change their perspective and to look on the brighter side. Great review! :techie-studyinggray:

Enlightenment is a must-read for every parent out there. Not only can these parents think of the worst of someone, they try to impose their own will on someone, without any regard for the person's choice. It's really pathetic.

Living a fulfilling life is what everyone craves. I like the author's approach to family, especially on adoption. This book seems to be both philosophical and educational. Congratulations on becoming today's BOTD.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

After reading this review, I would like to read the book. I would think that this book might make you think twice about how you treat others. I also think I would make a good fit for this book, because I do love philosophy.

I like books like this because they give life lessons and help you see things from another perspective. The author's desire to see that people find happiness and things to do to derive such happiness is soothing. I will add this to my shelve. Thank you for the review and congratulations to the author for such a great piece.

It looks like an intriguing book. The author focuses on spreading empathy and kindness because everyone has a right to be shown kindness. While the book looks interesting, I will be skipping it for now. Thank you for your review!

Living a fulfilled life every one of us desires, and due to lack of enlightenment, it seems unachievable. Interestingly, the themes of the stories in this fabulous book seem to enlighten a reader's mind in the direction of living a fulfilled life.

"Enlightenment for the Things That Really Matter" by Mark Gumbrell offers insights on living a fulfilled life through historical, religious, and philosophical anecdotes. The author challenges norms like prioritizing material possessions over empathy. While the novel has minor faults regarding references to God, its emphasis on kindness and gratitude earns it a solid 5-star rating. Recommended for readers of historical, religious, and philosophical genres. This is a very informative and honest review. Thank you.

The title itself "Enlightenment for the things that really matters" will get us to think about those who and what matters to us in this life. I think the author Mark Gumbrell wants us to reflect on ourselves, on our life here on earth to know those truly matters to us that way we will be enlightened how blessed we are. If some of us are blessed enough it is time to bless others by giving love, empathy to those who need it much.

There is a saying that: "If you are not inform you will be deform, and once you are deform you cannot transform and whenever there is no transformation you are dead"
Per this, the book contains the necessary informations towards achieving life adventures and challenges if you applies them the right way
