The Ravens Trail (Book 1) by Liz D. Marx is about a young women who dreams of an old Native American tribe. Chloe works her dream job at the Smithsonian institute in Washington D.C. One day while Chloe is at work she comes across this stone that with her touch lites up. Chloe took some time off of work to figure out where the stone belonged. While on her journey to find where the stone belonged she met a man named Mason. He told Chloe he would help her find where the stone belonged. Could Mason really help her figure out where the stone belonged? Read the book to find out.

Some things I liked about the book were that it had mystery, romance, magic, history and fantasy. I liked that it wasn’t always the same character talking throughout the whole book. I also liked that the book was exceptionally well edited and that there wasn’t a lot of spelling mistakes, grammatical errors or typos. Another thing I really liked about the book is that because it was written so well at some parts of the book it felt like I was actually there experiencing what the character was.

One thing I didn’t like about the book was that it started out as one of Chloes dreams and it felt like it was going to last forever. But as the story progressed it didn’t seem like it lasted forever. I didn’t like that because I thought that the whole story was going to be like that but as I read more it just got better and better.

My rating of the book is 4 out of 4 stars. I give it this rating because it is a book that is written very well. It was written well because at some parts of the book it felt like I was in the book as the character and everything that was happening to the character it felt like it was happening to me as well.

The audience I would recommend this book to are teens over the age of 15. The reason I recommend this is because at some parts of the book it is not something teens or children younger than 15 should read. If you like romance, mystery, magic, a little bit of history and fantasy this is a book you should definitely read the next chance you get. This book is a really good book I had a hard time putting it down at some parts. So if it sounds like a book you would like to read you definitely should read it. You won’t regret it.
