In-Plain Sight is a captivating non-fiction book by Susan Mallett that delves into corruption, deceit, war, political struggles, and economic crisis. Focusing on the tumultuous year of 2022, the book offers a comprehensive narrative of the events that unfolded during that time. It goes beyond the well-known incidents, shedding light on overlooked aspects that were blatantly visible but ignored by society. From the COVID-19 pandemic to the Ukraine-Russian war and the UK prime minister change, the book exposes lies and conspiracies perpetrated by governmental agencies under the pretext of public health.

It explores how global powers clung to unnecessary restrictions and vaccinations, while also examining the profound impact of the war on economies worldwide. Although initially mistaken for a book of conspiracy theories, "In-plain Sight" presents well-supported evidence and requires readers to perceive the obvious truths that have been in front of them all along. This remarkable literary work serves as a wake-up call, urging everyone to read and reflect upon the significant international events that shaped our world.

What I truly admire about this book is its ability to unravel everything we thought we knew about the year 2022. It's a deeply thought-provoking work, which I find incredibly valuable. It goes beyond simply presenting facts about the eventful year; it prompts readers to reflect and engage in critical thinking. This, in my opinion, is the book's greatest strength and what makes it a genuine masterpiece. I also appreciate the author's occasional humorous commentary, adding an enjoyable touch to the overall reading experience. Lastly, the well-titled chapters and sub-chapters perfectly complement the essence of the book.

While I didn't have any specific dislikes about this book, I found it somewhat unexciting due to my familiarity with the majority of the mentioned events. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised and filled with excitement whenever new eye-opening events were presented, even if I had some prior knowledge or awareness of them. The book provided ample food for thought during and even after my reading experience, which, as I previously mentioned, I consider to be a positive aspect.

I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars due to its remarkable educational value, shedding light on numerous topics that we often overlooked or failed to consider. Moreover, the book's exceptional editing and absence of errors greatly contribute to its overall quality. I recommend this eye-opening and thought-provoking book to those interested in non-fiction works exploring corruption, deceit, war, political struggles, and economic crisis.
