I really love this book. I think Greenwood did a great job. I feel like sometimes the bible can be a bit wordy and full on.I feel that this book gives a less formal view of the stories. It makes a good addition to your bible study.

Unfortunately, I have not read the book yet, but I intend to read it as soon as possible. It seems to be quite an interesting reading.

This book is a jewel for us Christians. I love the bible but sometimes I want to skip the old testament because I can't understand a thing! This book makes learning the old testament so much easier and so much enjoyable.

I liked the way the stories were written in modern English as it makes them more accessible and easier to understand. I also loved the title and cover as they are what initially caught my attention.

I like this book for summarising and writing the stories in simple English for easy reading and understanding. I would recommend this book to all Christians and to those who love history.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. And this book is good for people wanting some knowledge. I would suggest it to my father and rest of my family.

I haven't read the book yet, but other reader's comments have caught my interest. Reading an organized collection of Bible stories in straightforward language sounds much more appealing than struggling through King James.

I came to this topic attracted by the title and I can honestly say, I am very interested in reading "I Will Make of Thee a Great Nation". The way everybody seems to have received the lecture speaks highly of the content.

Though I am not a Christian, I like I Will Make of Thee a Great Nation by Val D. Greenwood because this book is based on the Old Testament, a religious scripture. This novel is a compilation of about 200 stories of the Old Testament. Both Christians and non-Christians can read this book and get happiness and peace through this book. I recommend this novel to readers who like religious scriptures.

I enjoyed the book. I like that they make references to the new testament even though it is supposed to based on old testament. But the book summarises some stories such that important information are sometimes missing. I believe this book would appeal most to people who love Christian literature and history.

I definitely want to read this one, but until I see just how much liberty the author took with the stories, I'll can't decide whether I would recommend it. I hope to finish it, however, and if it is as true as possible to the biblical accounts, I would recommend it to others.

I haven't read I Will Make of Thee a Great Nation: Old Testament Stories by Val D. Greenwood before but I think I should because I love bible stories so much. I have so many unanswered questions about bible stories and I hope that this book does that.
Books are beautiful.
